    Absolutely.

If you take care of your car it'll be reliable. Even italian and british cars.

    Well maybe...

    if you don't modify them
wait that doesn't work, you need to replace the shoddy bits with good parts

okay...if you don't modify them for performance
and take care of them religiously
    and don't thrash them
    maybe

hey! wait a second. what makes y´all think I don´t take care of my car? Couldn´t it be that I live on the tropic of cancer? I mean, all those defective parts I mentioned are due to be replaced on warranty. Couldn´t it be that somehow I just got unlucky with that particular unit that I got?

my father owned two Lancia Phedra (see PSA), the first was full of problems, mostly electronic stuff and. the second, two years later, was perfect, not a problem in 130k km in two years, (same km as the first)

It's a pure marketing move. The Mustang fanbase still isn't ready for the V8 model to go. Ford is likely gonna try and lure some of these ppl with the prospect of a car with as much power but with better fuel economy. It's gonna take a while for the muscle crowd to get weened off of their 8 cyl culture. Heck, it might never happen. But a TT 3.5 model would still sell well against a similarly powered 5.0....it would price out between the base NA 3.5 and the GT. I'm hoping they do it.
