    well my dads got one and despite him treating it like a sports car, you should hear him complain after he replaced the original diesel fitted with a safari turbo for a diesel out of a 100 series.

    I own a 98 Pathfinder so I can't say my opinion is an unbiased one. But I've taken that thing over 115 and even beaten some V6 Accords in it. I also took it offroading in the snow in a construction site once with a couple of jeeps. Unfortunately every single one of us got stuck (me in what ended up being a creek) but once the jeeps got out they were able to tow me out. And the only thing wrong with it afterwards was a faulty gas pressure valve. That thing can feel flimsy at times, but its built tough.

    I do not think that Rexton can beat the other leading brand, but on the desert, it will not left behind.

    On September 23, 2005, we will have a king vehicle challenge. Just visit http://www.dubai4x4.com for more information. All types of 4x4 cars will compete in to four categories. Unfortunately, Rexton will not be the one who will compete because I am one of the judges.

    They are both GOOD

    I have both cars. Land Cruiser 2007 is more durable and resistent than Pajero 2007.
    Driving a Pajero give me more pleasure. Pajero is more comfortable and has more extras. In terms of technology, sound system, etc, Pajero 2007 is some steps ahead from Land Cruiser. It depends what you want from them.

    ^ Your statement regarding on the L/C is correct, however the Pajero and the Endeavor are not related by one bit. The Endeavor is based on a mid-size platform aka. as the Galant sedan, the Challenger is based on a past-gen Pajero platform. While the new Challlenger is based on the L200/Triton/Strada compact pickup (not avail. in N.America) platform.

    NEW Challenger/Pajero Sport

    Land Cruiser 100 & 200 = Lexus LX470 (100) & LX570 (200)
    Land Cruiser 120 'Prado' = Lexus GX470
    Endeavor = modified Galant platform
    Old Challenger/Montero(Pajero) Sport = based on 2nd gen Pajero platform
    New Challenger/Pajero Sport = based on L200/Triton/Strada platform

    Suggestion-> First of all, the Land Cruiser should be specified by either L/C 120 or Prado or [Lexus] GX470 (for us yanks).

    -> I am tied between the Prado and the Pajero, both of these 4x4's can embarass most US-made SUV's. But in the end, I'd pick the Pajero, given by its current model being out for almost a decade. Experience counts y'know.

    -> I driven both Montero Sport (Challenger) and the Montero (Pajero), the MS is an SUV for the 3rd world compared to the Montero. The seats in the Montero (Pajero) are excellent for a 10 hour trip to San Jose from Vegas!

    I refuse to vote in a poll that contains a SSANGYONG as an option.

    The Land Cruiser is the best among all of them. A big car but supported by a big engine and goes easssy when it comes to off-roading. Also it is one big good heavy duty car
