Which would you prefer on a road car and why?
I've never driven an AWD car so I, unfortunately, can't start this off.

"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
where I'm living for the next few years for school it makes more sense for 4/All wheel because our seasons consist of winter and july

Unless you go on rough terrain, or gravel often, Rear Wheel Drive is normally better. It's just more fun.
Rear wheel drive. Unless you have poor terrain conditions four wheel drive is useless, since cars are usually thristier, slower and handle poorly.

Depends on what you want to do with the car, the conditions of the roads in your area, and what you are looking for in a car.

RWD, unless I was to be living somewhere where it snows all through winter.

And a bit of fun offroad.
Though I do drive a RWD car and I love it.
Rear Wheel Drive

with rear wheels drive you can do burn outs, power sliding
You can do burnouts in anything, and and AWD is arguably better at powersliding... unless you mean drifting.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
I would choose RWD, only if i lived in a snowy contry would i consider chosing AWD.
