I think the ARX-01a/b were still Courage tub, although the key question is whether they paid Courage for the renaming/homologating right. Which in the very public affair of the AM vs Lola, AM didn't....

That's the whole point. They could have bought the rights to rehomologate the cars. AMR found it far too expensive but now tries to change the truth by never mentioning Lola's involvement. However they will need Lola for parts supplies, seeing as the car is a Lola.
I am sure Courage allowed Acura to rehomologate the cars, exactly what the conditions were, I am not sure.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Mike Fuller's explaination for the flap's legality though was that he thinks the section was actually symmetric, which means its not technically an airfoil or "wing" section. Which is possible and you can also generate downforce just by manipulating its angle of attack(most fighter jet wings are actually symmetrical too...). It won't be AS efficient or effective, but in the area such as this any gain will be pure gain....
Won't be the first time its used, Porsche RS Spyder's legality plate between the front fender and the body was also symmetric section "wing" with some angle of attack to it, and you can be sure that it does generate downforce...

First pics of the GT2 Corvette Racing car.
Corvette Racing was supposed to have a bit more room to play with bodywork and were tipping it to look even more aggressive.
What I read was they wanted it to look very much like the road going Z06.....and mission accomplished.
they need to just add numbers, and leave that livery.
Honor. Courage. Commitment. Etcetera.
can't be looking too much different from this one
