    Thats because most people who use a mac don't have anything worth stealing on their computer

    And it's a bit of an urban myth that Macs don't get virus'. they're just harder to make & spread, but they are still there

    IIRC, a couple of years ago, there was something like a contest inviting "hackers" to attack OS X with viruses and so on. one of them actually made it (and won a 15.000 $ prize), even if he didn't found a real bug in the OS but just a sort of "door opened" where the system wasn't asking about permissions or something. obviously, they fixed that.

    I remember reading about this.

    It's not a flaw in the system per se, it's the Safari web browser that is extremely vunerable to hacking.

    Took the guy two minutes.
