    Anyway, rallying is mainly european.

    Like most "world" championships actually.

Except the NBA, in which the winner is World Champion for some strange reason

    I was thinking in motorsports.

F1, WTCC and WRC are mainly European, despite the world moniker.

All of the best players are in the NBA so it probably makes no difference in the end.

I know, I know.. I was just picking with USAmericans

Motorsport is an european and american sport essencially. There are not a lot of countries outside these 2 continents where motorsport is a well received sport. Maybe Japan and Australia, being the best examples.
And being the FIA european, and other competitions other than NASCAR or IRL bad received in the US, it's kind of logical that these Championships are mainly european. But I like a lot some of the american tracks.

It's too bad. I love watching WRC when I can find it. The best, THE BEST is when the cars roll over and the spectators come down and flip it right side up again.

Instead we have NASCAR. Archaic formula race cars built to go in circles for four hours and painted like street cars.

True, Japan should be allowed to participate, instead of just sending their best players here to participate that way.

I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

I wonder if the best teams in Nippon Professional Baseball could compete with the worst in MLB.

The Japanese models are still 2L for tax reasons, but that doesnt limit how rally inspired the road cars would be.

I thought the WRC allowed 2 litres max displacement. When the WRX first came out in America people were having fits about how if they wanted to they could go rallying (silly i know) but whne they cranked up the displacement they took the "rally" out of the cars and they just became quick AWD cars in my opinion.
