Its all in proportion to what someone can afford. By spending the extra G's on an actual Impreza, they probably screw themselves on maintenance/insurance/gas costs. I bet the kia costs considerably less to do those things.

At this point you would be better off if you just saved the money to buy a WRX instead of looking like a jackass with the Kia.

I've no doubt the Kia is the fast food of the motoring world - gratifying now and not necessarily good for your health.

Carrying the food analogy further, I can now understand why you chose the cars you own.

I don't know what food my car tastes would embody, but it would probably be rice. Quintessentially Asian, it's not that it means that I like boring bland cars. However, I appreciate well cooked rice, the same way I enjoy well made cars. Case in point, my family's vintage Accord. Bland, but has style in that way.
