Alfa Romeo Challenge Dijon Prenois 2009

    Hi guys,
Last week-end the Alfa Roméo Challenge came to Dijon for racing with the Swiss, German and Netherlander drivers.Dad was there with his orange giulia, unfortunately he suffered from a lack of torque of the engine (Twin Spark engine coming?), here comes the pics and the videos:
    * YouTube - Art of Racing ® in the Alfa Romeo Challenge Dijon Prenois 2009 race from the border of the track

    * YouTube - Alfa Romeo Challenge Dijon 2009 R2 onboard with the leaders, you can see the amazing Alfasud leading the two GTV6.

Those old school M3 DTM racers are some of my favorite BMW's.

    Very nice photos Vincent!
Thanks for posting them in here!
Looks like your father had a good race.
That Alfasud Sprint leading the race (wining race two) do you have more photos of it?
What is done to it's engine? Sounds like it's on steroids!

I really want a red, race prepared, 116-series GTV with that MC front, and white rims one time in my life...

And after watching that inboard video from scuderia del biscione, I have included Dijon on my racetracks-i-want-to-race-on list.

yeah, the M3 was very beautiful and performed really well^^

Sorry mate I have no close shot of the alfsud sprint apparently it had a twinspark engine, it is made with a lot of fiber glass panels and is below the 650 kilograms, the driver is very close of the rear axles like the current DTM cars.

dad enjoyed his race but was really disapointed of the engine. at the moment he's really thinking buying a race-prepared GTV like the the red one of claude busson in the video (he also one the GTV6 2.5L ex-Snobeck), since it would be more expensive to develop the giulia to fight with cars like max banks' sprint 2.0
