the mkIV was still available as new in 2007?

The Mk I is still available in South Africa.

Apparently the Mk IV was (is?) offered in Canda as the Citi Golf, much like the Clio Campus or the Fiat Punto.

City Golf though, not Citi like it was in South Africa.

They call it a Golf City now and I'm not sure what it's based on now MkIV or MkV but it now looks ugly - ours looks the same as a MkIV though.
