I just bought this model

Hi guys I just purchased this Porshce 911 GT3R, which was driven by Mattew Marsh in the 2004 Asian Career Cup. He won the championship. This model is in 1:18 scale and was made by auto art. Please tell me what you think and share any racing car models you have purchased.

Here's the only racing car I got in 1:18 scale. I got it purely because it was shiny.

Actually, I realized I got some 1:43 racing cars, like Lewis Hamilton's MP4-23 in 2008 by Minichamps. The other 2 are more of just Prototypes, and can be seen in this link.

Personally the colour sucks ... BUT assuming that's what it was in real life then it's a nice momento of a championship winning car.

What other models do you have ? Do you have a "theme" to your collection ?

Mainly 1:43 but have some "unusual" items in other scales including a tin-plate Matra Bagheera -- I mean WHO was making tin plate models in the 70s !!!!

Lol a tin car. It is a real car and that was its real colour so it is a nice replica. I saw the car in real life the colour and decals all the same, it's very nicely done. Now i follow this theme. I manily collect Fia gt, Le mans, Carrera cup cars (in this case) and a few "other" racing cars. My personal favourite in my collection is the Gulf racing Aston Martin, aswell as the Vitaphone racing Maserati MC12. Thanks for your feed back. More feedback would be appreciated. Thnx
