This car is somehow growing on me, especially in shots like the ones attached.
The profile is really something, and the front is good nonetheless. Yes, the smaller front light was a bit out of place at first, but now it seems to make sense.
What I can't stand though is:

    - The rear lights divided in three ovals as the tail pipes are (gimmick)
    - The whole dashboard made of wood in a unique solution with the rest of the console/front passenger. It used to be so in good old days of super-limos, but I don't think it's working on a modern car.

This isn't a modern car. This is ol' England. With wheels. And while the Arnage front may be better, the Mulsanne is a great car in its own.

I think it looks fine, just a rounder more modern Arnage. However, right now I think Rolls-Royce is to ultimate luxury cars what the iPod is to MP3 players - there's just no competition. Worse still, even if the Mulsanne costs significantly less than the Phantom nowadays that puts it right into the middle of Ghost money.
My opinion means nothing but I'd always prefer a Rolls-Royce.

There's a subtle but crucial difference. In a Rolls-Royce you are driven to places, in a Bentley you drive to wherever you are going.

An English shopping store chain that some guy drove a Rolls into a branch of recently because he was angry at them for some reason.

Not necessarily. Rolls Royce specifically positions Ghost as a driver's car, see that engine : 575hp. Thats why its mechanical underpinnings are a Bimmer 7 series, which is a awesomely beautiful driver's car.
And the segment where Mulsanne hopes to compete, it is mostly bought by wizened old geezers with gout, where they expect to be chauffeured around. I doubt if a person under 35 would use a Mulsanne anywhere, unless the said person wishes to include it in his latest gangsta video

A very sad thing nowadays is that a ultra-luxury car must look big, brutish and impossible, as if they are ego-compensators. How I miss the elegant Bentleys of yore

Discussing wheter a Bentley or a Rolls-Royce is the better driver's car is completely irrelevant. It's an attitude thing. Bentleys win Le Mans races and Rolls-Royces take you to the Oscars. It's a subtle but important difference. And it has nothing to do with the engineering.

I like both. The Arnage had its time, now it's Mulsanne's turn.
