on second thoughts, VAG has already taken over the Andros cup, with a Skoda....

But on topic, I don't think Dr. Ulrich will be happy, having to go back to the period of victories because of lack of serious opposition.

Shame about the Peugots, but I'm glad that Toyota is back in.

Maybe Honda and Nissan will come back to LMP1? (I think they run cars in LMP2.)

    That'd be all too awesome.

Is Aston Martin still running (in any of the classes)?

I don't follow Le Mans nearly as much as I should.

Honda already got a privateer car in the hands of Strakka racing.
Nissan is heavily in LMP2 with Oreca chassis.

AMR will not be to found on this years grid.

And YES you should follow Le Mans MUCH more

JRM will also race Honda in P1.

RML is out at all, possibly considering only some eventual ELMS rounds. Their P2 HPD is for sale now.

Are all Le Mans cars required to have four wheels?

This move is quite interesting. That's not a big deal to put your badge on someone else's already developed car, though. Wonder if they will consider some real effort in the future.

Hmm...wood monocoque? That should be required if it's going to be a Morgan and would be quite interesting. :P
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

You do know no Morgan has ever had a wooden chassis.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Something I wasn't expecting to hear. Were they making those wooden frames just for fun then?

Old Morgans (all except the Aero8) use Steel chassis with a Wooden frame.
    The Aero8 uses aluminum

They use the wooden frames to support the bodies. Many coachbuilt cars of the past have the exact same construction.
