Because I saw your post from an angle (I'm using a TV screen rather than a PC monitor), I thought that said "Z06"...I was like "Whoa, nice ride!"
Those Italian rules sure are restrictive...and a PITA if your parents / other relatives plan to hand you down their old cars. I'm glad I'm not of that age anymore - insurance was a big sting in the wallet when I was 18.

Ya.. my first car was my mum's old Rover SD1 V8. It was after 6 weeks in an old ford courier diesel, but still.. fun for a novice.

Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you."

The main problem was finding something within the limits, but we wouldn't have bought something that much different without them for running costs reasons. There were many good options I had to discard though.
Insurance wasn't that bad. Would have been 1.000 € with road assistance, but through a new law I could get the same class of my parents, so it was I saved 220 € with the same specs.

FastDriver, most all of the members of this site have watched a large amount of Top Gear at some point in our automotive enthusiasm. I've noticed that a lot of the information in your posts; "French cars are unreliable", "The Golf is better than the 1 Series" etc... seem to come from the mouths of Jeremy(mostly), James, or Richard.
While we enjoy Top Gear for the entertainment it provides us, and it is a common experience that most gearheads across the world have partaken in, you cannot take what they say at face value; Clarkson & Co. are not as much automotive journalists as comedians and their evaluations of cars are often shallow or downright fabrications. While we appreciate your enthusiasm, it's always nice to have new blood to spice things up around here, please don't fall into the trap of regurgitating Jeremy's opinions verbatim.
Yeah of course not, There are many times I desagree with what they think about certain cars. And they contradict themselves constantly. I was only mentioning that they do not agree with each other ether. which means we aren't expected to all agree that one single cars is better than all others. It is just simple physics
