Since the thread is back to life, I'll reply too!
I loved Red Rock Valley in GT2 and I'm upset it never reappeared in any GT games. It was such a nice track, I loved to own the LM cars with my fully tuned RUF CTR 2! Nürburgring Nordschleife and Circuit de la Sarthe I & II are my favorites in GT4.

This thread made me feel all nostalgic, so I dusted off the ps2 and stuck in GT2, and was literally shocked at how crap the graphics are! What were we thinking back then! All I could think of was the PS3 stand in the city centre Dixons that has F1 playing on the wide-screen hi-def plasma, and how aaamazing the graphics are..... thank god for technological advancement
Porsche!
My favourite is that italian urban track, which I can't quite remember the name of it.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
Nuerburgring Nordschlife for tuning/overall driving
and Trial Mountain for powersliding/drifting.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
Tahiti Road (my fav all-time) and El Capitan are my favs just because they're good all-around tracks that test both speed and handling at the same time, and make a good basis for comparing and evaluating cars in a short(er) period of time. I also like Suzuka, as it's an easy one to master, and Nuerburgring just for the sheer length and variety of the track - truly the ultimate test of a vehicle. I'm also a fan of the High Speed Ring, Autumn Mini Ring, Seoul, Tokyo, and NYC.

High Speed Ring
I love Trial Mountain, good at it. I love Laguna Seca as well, bad at it. Nurburgring as well, bad at it.

I love Circuit de la Sarthe and the Nurburgring. Suzuka is a very fine circuit for the Audi R8
