I did find a road since my first post which has a couple of curves but is still more relaxing for cruising than a corner carver's paradise. CR (County Road) 46. Some of the county roads have potential but are in poorly maintained rural areas. There isn't much vertical relief here, and thus not much cause to build a curvy road.

Now that I think of it, West Virginia's US-60 through Rainelle and the Appalachian Mountains is a feast for the eyes as well as the motoring soul. Back in California, the Mount Hamilton Road, [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_State_Route_130"]California State Route 130 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame], boasts 365 curves (disputed) in its 20-mile ascent to the top. Alternately, in North Carolina...

Confirm/deny RM? I once found a link of good roads in Ontario and none were near here.

The closest "fun" road is very weak; the Bayview extension which runs in the eastern part of Old Toronto in the Don Valley.

In Scotland I did not take much time to dick around in the car, but there were tons of beautiful small-ass, poorly maintained B roads between towns in Angus.
Pretty confirmed....there is like 4 corners on Mississauga road that sorta linked together....

Up north past Maskoka though I think there are more interesting roads....one of these days I might venture there....

This guy's channel is pretty cool and can give you a really great idea of the roads in the Swiss. Just look at this one (it gets quite hairy at 5:00):

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKu_t7cTxGk"]Switzerland 152 (Camera on board): Evolène (VS), Arolla par le val dArolla - YouTube[/ame]

This is the start of the route, it still seems like a leisurely drive here but after the full 40km route you are sweating quite a lot:

I am really craving a good road in my area. But it's at least 3-4 hours north to Arkansas or Oklahoma and the Ozark/Ouachita mountains to find anything worth a damn I would really love to put both of our econoboxes through their paces, just for the helluvit, but it is hardly convenient.

I am sure I have mentioned US-60 in the US state of West Virginia as a favourite as well. I wrung that little Harley of mine, wearing down the peg feelers (and the matte black of my exhaust guards) through the curves on that bad boy, and the road is pure delight, both from a driving/riding standpoint as well as the surrounding scenery. The Appalachians, despite their reputation for poverty, are some of the most ecologically oldest and diverse biomes in the entirety of North America. A truly beautiful and thick variety of deciduous trees, soft-looking eroded mountains, rivers, and the occasional house greet you in this most understatedly beautiful states. A real shame it is so impoverished, I am actually surprised that the Washington Elite have not discovered this gem in their own back yard.

Florida Highway A1A sounds good too. Hugs the Atlantic coast of Florida, running all the way from Key West up north. It actually changes alignments a few times but is nonetheless a fantastic cruising road.

Next weekend (or maybe the one after that) I want to try out the classic Catalunya Rally stages (Coll de Revell, Viladrau, Espinelves, Coll de Bracons,...). They should be excellent, but I fear they are little too far off home to be an easy comfortable drive if the mood takes you...

National Monument, on a recent trip to the grand canyon. It was probably a good thing my girlfriend was driving and not me

Prettier than I thought Mass would be...I had this impression of it being somehow...Northern trashy, for some reason.

Mass seemed to me like it was filled with downtrodden ex-fishermen for some reason.

Maybe because of the documentary I watched on crack addicts which happened to focus on an addict in Worcester (why the hell isn't it just spelled Wooster?), MA.

Though NPR Car Talk comes from MA...
