I'm sure you can find the press release for the Toyota Z4.

Toyota Supra #2
A good bit ambivalent about the Supra. I'm glad there is a Supra, but considering that they shared so much with a BMW, I'm not sure if I can wholly a Toyota. Plus there's the issue of not having a manual. Price is nice though.
Toyota Supra #3
Toyota Supra #4
Last of the bunch.
Toyota Supra Heritage- only adding it here because Toyota added them as the set. I guess you can remove if you wish, mods.
The whole endeavor finds me apathetic. They've managed to suck the joy from it somehow.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
I have to agree, it's like the ship of Theseus. You've replaced all the wood in the ship, are you still considered original?
The Supra is quite the same, it's not entirely a Toyota product and such I cannot accept it as one. That being said, I'd be willing to give it a test drive just to see how it is.
The BRZ/GT-86 twins seems so much more Japanese to me for some odd reason.
It's one of those cars that I should like (being a Supra owner myself, don't cha know...) where it looks good and scores well-enough in most metrics (and imperials) but just doesn't do anything of particular note.
I'd liken it to the Infiniti G/Skyline; quite competent but not overly-special.
That said, I wouldn't mind a drive in one and it'll be interesting to feed the manufacturer-journalist complex and see what the 'experts' say. We shall, it seems, see.

$56k USD. Oof. A bit steep there bahd, 45 would be more tolerable.
I forgot you own a Supra.
I have nothing wrong with the Infiniti G (I actually forgot what name it eventually got) because it's a Japanese venture. This just seems like an abomination just because BMW has a hand in it and I cannot accept that no matter how hard I try for some odd reason.
I meant to use the G as an example of a competent car that doesn't excite.

I feel I've seen this design, possibly in one of the GTA games.
The front end has a the look of them not knowing when to stop. The shot of it with the past cars really shows this up. You've got an F1-style nose there between two other gaps, then there are vertical gaps under the headlights, the headlights curve to point at the nose, winglets... it just doesn't tie together properly.
Then there is the rest of the car that seems to have been influenced alot by the Mazda RX-8, although I also feel there is a bit of TVR Sagaris as well.
This car with a GT86 style nose, with its simpler lines I think would help the front end but the rest of the car just has some weird lines to it.
"Some days, you just can't get rid of a bomb!"
"Life is short, drive fast!" - Lamborghini
"How's that for a slice of fried gold?"
"I'll take the case!" - Harvey Birdman
Somewhere it all went a bit wrong.
I just can't believe the original designer would be happy with the end result.
