Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the 911 in great style, Porsche developed 911 S/T, which is appropriately limited to just 1963 examples. Inspired by the rare 911 ST competition cars of the late 1960s and early 1970s, the new S/T combines the lightweight Touring package version of the GT3 with the 503 bhp engine of the GT3 RS and a six-speed manual gearbox. The 911 S/T is also available with a Heritage Design Package, which includes a roundel and race number of choice.
Starting in 2024, Ford will organise the IMSA sanctioned Mustang Challenge for the new Mustang Black Horse R. Based on the high-performance Black Horse road car, the spec-racer features a modified engine, beefed up suspension and additional safety features. The calendar still needs to be finalised but Ford expects the Mustang Challenge to run 10 or 12 races during five or six race meetings in 2024.

Legendary McLaren designer Steve Nichols, of MP4/4 fame, has revealed a McLaren M1A inspired production sports car. Fittingly dubbed the N1A the open-top sports car boasts a sophisticated bonded aluminium and carbon-fibre composite chassis and comes with a choice of Chevrolet small-block based engines. The most powerful version is a 7-litre behemoth good for 650 bhp. Nichols Cars will produce no more than 100 examples of the N1A.
