It has been busy week of Formula 1 launches with all four cars expected to star at the sharp end of the field in 2024 breaking cover. Last night Red Bull Racing debuted the RB20, which has the difficult task of succeeding the all-conquering RB19. It is an another evolution of the successful machine with further refined aerodynamics. What exactly has changed remains to be seen as the only clear pictures revealed are very basic renders of the RB20.
Looking set to take on world champions Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen are the Ferrari SF24, Mercedes-AMG F1 W15 and the McLaren MCL38 Mercedes.
Another major launch this week was of the Chrysler Halcyon Concept. It is built on the new all-electric Stellantis platform and breaking form for Chrysler, it is not a minivan. The striking show car has spectacular doors that open in three directions. The Halcyon Concept also support wireless charging, which allows the car to be charged on the move over specially equipped road lanes, providing a theoretical unlimited mileage.
