I did, yeah, I have a few pics on my phone, my sister had stolen the battery from my camera but another mate took loads, he'll e-mail them to me at somepoint. We made the whole group late back, we went in on our way back to the mini-bus

So in other words, only a few you would actually mention as a sighting, but just because it's a large showroom it should be made special? I could list about $40m or so worth of cars that I see regularly in showrooms within a 2km of each other, but I don't because there's no real point. You traveled TO a showroom to see cars, you didn't happen to spot them whilst being elsewhere for a different reason.
In that sense, today:
Diablo
360
C5 Vette
AM DB9
Just your average schoolday.
A CLS 63 amg
A Jensen Interceptor... which is a bit more special than you think, will post up more details later.
was it an original or one of the 'new' Cropredy Bridge fettled Interceptor S's?

Helps that my Current boss was the Chief engineer of Jensen back in the days
I will post more details later and a few pictures.. pretty busy tonight.
Anyway, back to what I was saying.
Back in the day, my current Boss was the Chief Engineer of Jensen UK. He developed most of the old Jensens you see on the road today (Thats if you see any!)
During Production of the Interceptor, He was asked to start work on a Prototype car, so he took an Interceptor and started from there. It was fitted with a 7.2 Litre Chevrolet Engine, From internet facts it is quoted as 640Bhp, but it is probably half that if we're brutally honest. The wider track of the new prototype means the wheels had to be placed farther out, filling the arches. The rear is Self-Levelling Air suspension. My boss took over this car in 1976 when the company went bust. Here is two pictures of the car, at his house after it was brought back from England, and when he started his successful business up here.
The car was regularly used, but in the late nineties, it was stored so he could build up his new premises. The car unfortunately lay there for a good while. On completion of a house move in December 2006, the car was uncovered, and brought to the Garage. A Full restoration was in mind. The car is in good condition, it is not rusted on the chassis, only some chrome parts are having to be restored. The car has been totally sanded down by Charlie at work, who has great skills and precision. Here it is around December/January 2006. Apologies for the crap pictures, it is taken on a phone.
Alot of effort was made in getting it started again, but this was eventually done, and a sound clip is attached. Sorry for hte quality, again, it was on a phone. It is held at a few thousand RPM, then later dropped. Straight through pipes sound fantastic
This is a picture of the car just before it was sent the paintshop - Where it still is located, getting a full respray.
Anyway, this car should be back with us in a few weeks - High-Resolution pictures should be available later on. Thanks for reading, if you have any questions, I will try and answer them, if not, I will ask the owner.

Adam you should start a separate thread on that Jensen. Very interesting!
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Cheers Wouter, will do that when it has finally been completed, which isn't too far away now.
Some kind of old 70's Lincoln Continental a few hours ago.
