Here is a story for ya !!

I hope we can all have a smile out of this story as well as learn the lesson !!

I just got a brand new Sony Ericsson mobile phone about 2 weeks and it cost me over $300 US, as it has all the pimpin features including a cam and bluetooth. Lucky for me the phone started doing funny things 3 days after i purchased it. Please dont even ask about warranty because this is a different part of the world and everything here is different !!

So for the past coupel of days i was busy going between the Sony Ericsson service center and the store i purchased the phone from to TRY and get some sort of settlement. My work hours are from 8:30am-2:00pm and from 5:00pm - 8:00pm with thursday an only morning shift and friday the only day off. the Sony Ericsson hours are from 9-2pm and 4:30pm-7pm daily and thursday an only morning shift and fridays off !! so its almost identical to my schedule, exept fot that half an hour head start they have from 4:30-5pm, which i though would be my only chance to try and visit them.
so i did that and i was in an extreme hurry as my work start at 5pm and they open at 4:30pm.

So i rushed to the store and stayed there for about 1 hour and then went back out to hear my car's engine running. i look inside and there are my keys in the ignition! turns out that i left the keys in the car with it turned on.
home is about 25 minutes away, so i thought i would go home to get my spare keys and then back. but wait, my house keys are also inside the car !!
sure the building's superintendant has a spare key, right ?! i take a cab home and ask the guy for the spare key and he keeps looking for 20 mins and gives me a key chain with 5 keys and tells me its one of them. none of them work!! so i call a friend who tells me about a guy that can open any car in minutes (its his job as he works in a key store). i go there and he says sure, but it will cost 35 US dollars !! after a 3 minute negotiation i take it down to 25 and we take a cab to the car. during the way i get into a fight with the cab driver for refusing to take the route i told him to take and instead takes us into the middle of rush hour !!

anyways, we arrived to the car and the guy opened it in about 2 minutes. thats ofcourse after the engine has been running for over 3 hours staright !!
may i add that its a 92 Cadillac Seville STS with a 4.9Litre V8 that basically LOVES gas !!
i drove the guy back to his store after he looked at the driving licsence and the car's registration papers to make sure i am the owner. he also wrote down all the info for future reference. i also made another copy of the door keys to keep in my wallet for future incidents !! and ofcourse a spare copy of the apartment key as well.

anyways, i hope u all get something out of this.
oh and by the way, coz of all this, i didnt go to work for that afternoon shift !so it did cost me more than just the guy's money and the cabs' fares !!

Sounds like a girl I used to know at school... she left her father's BMW 5 Series in a busy downtown parking lot running and unlocked for around three hours while she went to go somewhere. Came back, and nothing had happened! Maybe any potential theives thought that it was a Police bait car

haha nice story!!these things happened to me too!!here is the story:
i was about to go home after a day at school.I wanted to open the lock of my bike, but f**k where is my key!!!i looked for it all through the school, but i couldnt find it.so , i tried calling my dad, cos he has a spare key, but didnt answer the phone.i was pretty pissed, cos at that time i was the last person at school and everyone was gone.anyway, i took my bike, and lifted the rear wheel so that i could take it home.one problem, it was 4 miles walking home !!lifting a heavy bike isnt nice to do for that time.Halveway it started to rain, and when i came home(finally), i found out i lost the house keys too!!!!our neighbours have our door keys, but they werent home , f**k.i then remembered my dad wasnt at his office, and his cell phone was off.i could only do one thing , wait.after sitting in the garden for 5 hours in the rain he came home and opened the door.
