Do they make any steering wheels for PS2/Xbox that actually have realistic weighting? Now that would be interesting, none of this one turn lock to lock stuff either

Thats pretty vague, what did you like the handling? Was it more arcade than simulation? Did it have lifelike damage? did you get penalties for running up the arse of the other cars? did you try win on 3 wheels

    come on details details.......

I loved the handling, but it is much harder to corner properly than any other game ive played, meaning it lose massive speed coming out. its more simulation than arcade. There was no damage I saw when I played, but i dont know if thats coz its a demo, or not. You can turn traction control, ABS and some stability assistance option ON of OFF, and you notice big difference in the behaviour of the car. The cars you can use, which include EV0 8, 350Z, C6 Corvette i found accelerate realistically too, i dunno about GT, but V8S and PGR2 seemed like they were quicker than what they were in real life. The cars sound really muffled, but that was probably because i choose in-car view. I havent tried running up the arse of other cars yet but ill try it There needs to be a proper incar view where you can actually see the steering wheel.

You can alter your driving habits though to carry more speed through the corners. I know GT3 though, the electronic crap rather than on/off, you can also adjust how hard it gets applied in 10 level. Other than that it sounds like it'll be a great game

its surprising the amount of tuning you can do in games like Underground 2, in some areas you could adjust the car better than GT3, so im hoping GT4 has some big improvements in that area. I was never a big fan of how you adjusted the brake balance for one....

Im anticipating lots of tuning options in forza, although you cant tune in the demo, it asks you if u want to upgrade ur car, so i said yes, and it changed the front, rear spoiler, as well as side skirts and rear bumper bar, and made its own logo etc to go on the car. It looked like something from NSFU!

I just realised, if u touch the wall at all then all the paint comes off on where you hit it, but the damage isnt very realistic.

Well body modifications were always something i thought lacked from the GT series, the furthest it was taken was the aftermarket wheels so you really made a point to by the GTR skylines over the GTS-T's for the better bodykits But personally, a full kit isnt really needed. Some cars look like they need a kit, some others are fine.

That paint scraping thing im not a big fan of. I'd rather have the car in tact when i finished, damage is just one parameter trying to make realistic usually f**ks up the racing
