    Which cars changed the world?

ok ive been thinking of this for a while and discussing it with friends, which cars do you think changed the world? The lamborghini Miura springs to mind, it certainly changed the whole perspective on supercars to this day. The mini cooper started off a whole new supermini craze. What do you think?

    Matra (Renault) Espace 1984.

The start of the MPV and 'monospace' family vehicles with CAR characteristics.

( The Fiat Multipla was too small and the Chrysler Voyager was a van with windows )

Volkswagen Beetle for sure ... it revelotionised mass production and without it, cars would be more expensive and harder to get hold of.

You cant really say a supercar was revelotionary because it would only be availible to a small percentage of people, unless its a revelotion to the brand.

Why did I see that coming?

I also dissagree with your statement. In my own opinion, the late 80s, early 90s Honda Civic/CRX is what got people to start driving fuel efficent cars. The Honda Hybrid (not real sure if that's the real name or not) got people to drive cars with an electric/gasoline hybrid vehicle.

The Toyota Prius just gave a fanboy a reason to speak! (J/K)

huh ? The VW Beetle was mediocre production methods restarted under the control of a British Army captain. I'mo not sure it revolutionised anything - except a bunch of hippies in the 70s and Autralian back-packers today

Land rover defender- for having such an impact in poor countries suppling food and water and in the british army having served many years....and british farmers 1st choice. I think this was Tg's winning car in this kind of subject.

The original Mini-Small car very quick, with bags of room. which brought us the renault 5 turbo, peugeot gti, mg metro 6r4 all great rally legends.
