According to Fabio,, Chrysler owned Maserati from 1988-1992. I did some search on the TC (having never heard of the model before) and found that already in 1985 Lee Iaccoca pondered with the idea to get Maserati involved in a project. Obviously you don't have to own a company when you seek co-operation. (Ford and PSA are developing diesel engines together and give the same engine a different name TDCi-HDi when applied in their cars. There is no ownership relation between Ford and PSA as far as I nkow).

Alright well i have been proved wrong mate, I was positive that Maserati was owned by Chrysler, I guess i was wrong, well enough about this focus on the next question.

Fair Enough, but it does help when you own a company to be able to put it's badge, or yours, onto models that seem to work for them to work for you, just ask GM Daewoo....

True, that is why the citroen sm has so much similarities with one of the maseratis of back then.I think it had a maserati engine in it.

My vote is for the Merak (the 3 litre smaller sister of the Bora) that handled like it was on rails ... and looked like it was born in heaven ... (despite it's hellish servicing bills ... and the fact that it shared it's assisted braking system with a few Citroens)

And Lamborghini's complaint that Enzo wouldn't grant an audience to the tractor maker for? ....

Or in my case, and others' too, we actually just guessed because we knew the answer... doing a online search is easy enough, but it kinda defeats the whole purpose of trivia...
