Now, if a driver clearly has a front wing that's ready to fall off at a moment's notice, surely either the team should call him in for a wing change or race control should show him the black flag w/orange spot.

Carpentier's wing was flapping about for ages prior to that accident, how on earth did the layers of safety (team and race control) get skipped allowing Carpentier to have that accident??!!??

Thats something the Channel10 commentators mentioned here several times.....i guess firstly it was race control's responsobility to make mention of it, but surely the team would have his safety in mind over race position.
