    oops, stand corrected.

I had a kidney stone a few years back.

The doctors said the pain is at the same level as childbirth but has the disadvantage of being continuous unlike delivery with it's contractions.

I was give morphine at home by my doctor to reduce the pain and ANOTHER intravenous morphine in the ambulance. Now THAT is a serious drug and WAAAAAY surpasses anything else Kept me on it for about 6 hours till it all passed ( pun intended ).

I had a similar problem, but not so much pain, however, when the stone went finally out taking the natural road, it got stuck about 15 cm before the exit. That was really quite annoying.

I was an extra on the New York Times Square night-time scenes for Deep Impact !!
All the cars int he scenes are owned by the 'extras' who are contacted and asked to bring them to the shoot. So the cop cars, Volvos, taxis in the background are all owned and driven their ( and home again ) by the extras.

my grandpa is a producer and i went to see part of one of his movies filmed a few years back in LA, quite impressive. this one happened to be a tv movie for tbs called "running mates". he has won an oscar for a movie he did about the bible and recently he is producing a series of documentaries for the discovery channell called "decisions that shook the world", which has morgan freeman narrating. he was and still is working on getting a certain movie given the go ahead by the movie company, i wont tell u much about it right now.
