    - Doors -

Alrite... here's the thing... There has always been this argument of what are exactly Gull wing doors, what are scissor doors, what are Lambo doors and so on and so on...
See how many cars you can find with other types of doors... apart from the 'normal/typical' doors you find on cars... thennnnnn... post the pic of the cars and tell me what you think those doors are called...
We should get a decent amount of cars over here... have a go anyway... I'll start offffff...

Alrite... first three are obviously Lamborghinis... the Countache, the Diablo and then the Murcielago. Then there is the Bugatti EB110... I would say alllll of these cars have gullwing doors or Scissor doors... Can you really say, the Bugatti has Lamborghini doors?...

Nope, those are all scissor doors...

Gullwing doors are a bit different, a la Delorean or 300SL...

Anyway, what do you call the doors on a Saleen S7 or a McLaren F1?

I think the Koenigsegg is the best, though... dihedral synchro helix actuation doors!

Okayyyyyy... These next few cars kinda has similar doors...
The doors on the concept Honda HSC and the Hamann 911 look alike... I dunno what to call them... I proabably would call all of these gullwing doors again... cos till now I used to call all doors that open upwards > gullwing... *sigh* now I'm back to thinking *brain cramps*

and as there aren't that many gull wing doors, here's another one

the principle difference is that gull wings door hinge from the roof, scissor door from the A-pillar.

the ford gt/gt40 just has normal doors, whoever said they were something else. they just happen to take away part of the roof with them.

Gullwing Doors--Doors hinged at their top edges rather than the front or rear. The first car to use gullwing doors was the Mercedes 300SL Coupe.
