GT3 didn't have a Lamborghini(s); didn't they change the name, and you have to use some code breaking device?

Actually GT3 did have 1 Lamborghini and 1 Porsche.
But they were in they Japanese version. PD locked them and a few other cars for the other versions. If you have a gameshark however, you can unlock them. If not, you'll never see them for yourself on your game.

Actually no. That Lamborghini is unlockable through the Japanese version.
The US version never got to see the Nomad Lamborghini or Porsche 911 GT3 w/ a GameShark.
