What's that, about 1:45 minutes(just checked) into the movie? That's most of the movie. Maybe you saw it long ago and don't recall when the bank robbery gun-battle takes place. Most of the character development/background/mood, that makes HEAT good is in this buildup.As for HEAT... I would have cut everything right before the huge gun battle in LA.
Sure it was cool to watch, but it totaly ruined the movie.

Ronin does have one of the best car chases in movie history thats for sure,
Matrix reloaded wasn't bad for car chase then bike chase truck chase all in 1
