It says here that the Concept R is front engined but a lot of other sources say it is Mid-engined, which one is it?

Interesting as at VW it says mid-engined rear wheel drive ....

hmmmmm, maybe as a "concept" it doesn't actually HAVE an engine yet and they're hedging their bets

A lot of companies (Ghia especially) liked to build non functioning prototypes. Maybe it just hasn't been built yet, as matra said.
