Back to the topic at hand, why are they so concerned with a wait thats just over a year? From what Ive heard on these forums, doesnt the DB9 have a 18month wait, whereas Ferraris tend to have 2 years (please feel free to correct me if Im wrong). I suppose it has been in development for many years, and to have to wait another year for your Veyron to arrive may seem a bit much, but compared to other brands, it seems on par.
