Well, seeing as Mercedes were hoping to sell 1000 Maybachs per annum and seem unlikely to sell much more than 300 in 2006...I think it's safe to say that sales have been disappointing.

The only thing I can't believe is that I saw the same Maybach 62 on separate days, same color combo, same ol' driver.
The Ace of All Aces.
Crysis. Maximum Game.
theres a few in my area, probably 5-10 more around the city or so...
this is like the english as a second language thread
I know of at least 3 Maybachs in Poland.
One has recently been bought by a member of parliament. About a week after that he got expelled from his party for "showing off and improper behaviour".
Another belongs to an owner of soft drinks factory. Though I'm not sure if he still owns it. Last year he had serious financial problems, so maybe he sold the car.
I don't know who owns the third car.
There are also rumours of another Maybach, but noone confirmed seeing it actually. The owner is supposed to be a certain priest - director of a radio station and religious leader of all the catholic extremists in Poland.

It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

In 1999 my then girlfriend and I were playing charades with some friends, and I had to mime the song "Horny." At the end, my team won, and my girlfriend conceded "OK Horny Alex, you won," hence "hornyalex1."

Visca Catalunya!
I have seen two in this area, closer to downtown Chicago but yeah, I love the car.
There are at least 20 in Los Angeles, maybe 100, maybe more. However, I see a lot more RR Phantoms on the street.
If by tarted up you mean given an entirely different engine, a chassis longer wider and stronger than the C-class, more luxury, higher quality materials and absolutly packed with technology. All of this and you can have your interior customised and custom coloured how you want.Originally Posted by Ferrer

That's between the 62 and 57 Maybach models though.Originally Posted by hornyalex1

2007 Acura TL Type-S (AEM V2, R-V6 Race/J-Pipe, ATLP Quad Exhaust)
2011 BMW 328i Coupe
In charisma it scores no better than the C-class in my opinion...Originally Posted by h00t_h00t

On the outside the C-class looks much nicer. Not so over the top. On the inside though. I would love if my lounge room was fitted with as much luxury as that car. So I don't see how you can compare a Maybach (nearly $1,000,000) and a C-class (beteen $54,000 - $160,000).
Does anyone actually own one in Australia though? I have no idea.
Not sure about New Jersey, but NYC has got to have at least 50.
I think Simon Cowell has one.....
Porsche!
