    Sl 60 Amg

Top marque from R129 SL Class has full AMG upgrades, & powered with 6.0L V12. It is beautiful baby.

Erm... actually no, the SL60 AMg had a 6-litre V8 developping 380bhp. The only V12 AMG R129 SL is the SL73 AMG which had the engine currently found in the Pagani, but giving "only" 525bhp. Curiously the "regular" SL 600 (this time with the 6-litre V12) had more power at just under 400bhp.

actually you might need to update that a bit buddy..SL 65 AMG has a V12 which has 5.98L engine twin turbo that produces 612 bhp..

and yes you probably are the only person who prefers the older version..the new is just too hot, especially with the hard top up

The current SL65AMG has a twin turbo, yes. The old one didn't though.

I was referring to the old-gen R129 SL's, the 65 came with this generation.

Don't forget the W124 E-class, it used to look much meaner than the current Chrysler-like one.

The SL60 AMG has a normally aspirated engine.

When my interest in cars first sparked about 6 years ago, this car was one of the first that I noticed, and so I've got a soft spot for it. No new mercedes will ever appeal more to me than this SL.
