    The front splitter you could argue is V8 inspired. The lower grille shape and the contour of the bumper however, arent. Ford's V8 lower grille is inverted compared to Holdens, and the HSV's lower grille looks more Ford V8 inspired than Holden V8 inspired as theyve got the similar layout.

    I got sep wheels mag and on page 48 there is a pick with 2 guys cleaning it front on. That is the first time i have felt it looks great. But dam it's very low at the front. And it does remind you of a V8 supercar.
    I'm not sure if I'm a fan of there taillights, But applaud them for having the balls to do something that different.

    Personally I cant call a 400+hp car rice.............................

    If this cars' rice then the same would go to many highly modified skylines and supras.

    For me rice = has the look without the performance.

    This new HSV has the look as well as the performance so not = rice.

    I wouldn't compare this car to Japanese toys.

    I do have criticisms though:

    • Foglight housing = Overkill
    • Lower bumber = FPV
    • GTS badge under fake vent = Don't like it


    IMO the Clubsport R8 isn't too much of a step from the SS, styling wise.

    Message to HSV: Point the Guages AT the driver.



    EDIT: MonaroCountry - Next time could you upload huge images or link to them, some users have dialup so it makes things difficult for them.

    The back seems a little bland from straight behind but the straight on front looks mean. Red interior yuk. I think like anything you will need to see this in the flesh to appreciate or otherwise its looks.
