The same buyer also purchased a 1971 Corvette ZR2 for almost a million.

    $100,000 is seriously pushing it.
He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

Yeah I suppose you are right. My point was a bad one that tried to show that a Corvette could go for a million.

I wonder if any other Corvettes out there could go for a million.

Maybe a ZL1, or the first surviving example or something else I am missing.

    How about a Grand Sport?
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

A Million is pretty outlandish especially if there is no warranty as I get the impression from the description. But if it goes for a good cause whose to say he is wrong?

I believe the 3rd one made went for 1 million. I forgot what the LT-2 corvette went for.

I thought that the LT2 Corvette was lost.

That car is absolutely amazing! Do you have any more information about it?

There's nothing wrong with Corvettes going for a million. Provided it's the right one.
