Petrol creeping towards $2 a litre mark
The days of petrol costing $2 per litre crept nearer today, after one major fuel company raised prices to a record high.
BP raised its prices at the pumps by two cents to 179.9c for 91 and 185.9 for 93 premium.
Shell prices remained steady at 177.9c and 182.9c this morning but a company spokesperson said prices were reviewed daily and international oil prices could force a rise.
Mobil declined to give a price over the phone.
Any NZer's out there, are you starting to use the car less now?
If it gets much higher, i think I'll be considering cutting back.
