Fortunately it seems like the next 9-3 will go back to the hatchback.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
Mmm, love those wheels.
I like it. Nice to see Spyker being provocative with new designs.
The fron't isn't that new design-wise, but the rear is nice . I approve.

I may be biased (definitely), but I think Castriota is mixing up his design themes a bit too much recently. The new SSC looks like the P4/5 with less/no referrences to the 330 P3/4, and this looks like a rounded and simplified Mantide, which to date is, in my biased opinion, his best creation.
It's nice however to notice the constant evolution of the wings right behind the canopy, they used to be something like an additional pillar on the 599 GTB, and now they looks like proper... wings.
It's not the only feature that has been carried over in his projects, and it's nice to have once again a designer who creates cars through the evolution of his own ideas rather than just following trends and marketing directions. My Italian 2 cents of course, but it sort of reminds me of some Fioravanti and Giugiaro designs, which you could see were evolving each year with every new proposal especially in their early days.
It's still Mantide for me.

The short wheelbase makes it seem too stubby. Otherwise, great design!
Buy a car for you, not for other people
Great details, like the rear lights, and wheels, etc. but the overall proportions is a bit wrong. Too rounded, too short, and yea, generally quite stubby.

I get it - I get the modernism, the overt Aeroplane overtones, the turbines, the cockpit, the works. And in theory it's magic.
The winglets over the rear windows annoy the bejesus out of me because they're nothing but a "look at me and my clever design" flourish. Good for a concept car, but translation into production? slim to none. and Ferrari has already done them in the 599GTB, and I didn't like them then.
It works because the proportions are so stubby, so kudos. I can't wait to see the translation into a production car.

^^^ the 599 GTB and this car were both designed by Castriota, explaining the winglets.

Great looking car but i agree with IB4R, those winglets (i call them eyebrows) def. need to go. They don't match the car at all. I love the taillights, they remind me of a late '90s Firebird with the honeycomb look to them
