yeah, my xbox is ****ed. i haven't changed to the other one yet, purely because it throws up hilarious stuff like the psychadelic GT2 and rainbow road style bitumen every now and then.

Is it still in warrantee? I would definitely send it in, especially if it could result in a RROD.
Funnily enough, my PS3 died a second time, this time though within the 90 factory refurbish time period. I had sent it back in August, and I sent it back again Monday this week for the same reason- no HD video.
People complain about 360s getting broken, I haven't exactly had a good track record with PS3s either.
