As for the M600, it's only about 4 years too late and 3x overpriced.

In today's climate and with the massive amount of competition in the £200k-ish market I can't see too many buyers for the car I'm afraid. I'm sure it'll be good to drive and all that jazz, but when you can get any current Ferrari or Lamborghini for less they'll struggle big time, especially with the new Ferrari 458 and the Murcielago's replacement coming in the next few years (not to mention the McLaren P11 and new Lotus Esprit). The M600 doesn't look or sound special enough to command a premium over the 'run of the mill' Ferraris/Lambos like a Zonda or Koeniggseg can. Frankly I think that even at £100k Noble would struggle to find the 50 buyers per year they're looking for. At £200k they'll need a miracle.
I think one of the only things they have going for them is the fact that they're not as common as Ferraris/Lambos...otherwise, I agree...why bother?

Now, the same car for $50k and we're in business

As I always say, never buy a car jsut for the sake of being different.

If something is good and popular - buy it. If something is good and obscure - buy it, but don't buy something obscure just to stand out.

    That's poor.

    Silly.

Drive the car you like best - if everyone else also drives that car, go ahead and drive it too. Don't drive an inferior car just because it's different.

EDIT: Just saw the white text - disregard the above.

I agree completely with your statement.

Will Noble ever sell cars again? And how have they managed to survive without selling a single car in four years?

The company was bought out by rich American guy Peter Dyson back in 2006, and they've been slowly developing the car since then with his backing. However, somewhere along the line there was a bust-up between Lee Noble and the new owner and Noble walked out last year at some point. With Dyson's financial backing they haven't needed to operate as a 'normal' car company, ie they haven't actually needed to sell a single unit.

Similar kind of deal to Ascari Cars I guess; they haven't needed to be a remotely profitable business at any point in their existence, they just get bankrolled by a super-wealthy petrolhead. Good cars, but a bit of a financial disaster - which is exactly what I predict will happen with Noble.

I see, now it makes sense.

I looks like they might be stepping out of the traditional Noble fomula though.
