1976 Alfa Romeo Navajo by Bertone

This car was build by Bertone in 1976. The chassis of this car was taken from Alfa Romeo T33 race car study. The whole coachwork is subjected to air adhesion, from cuted front side, through clean V-gutter pontoon profile, to wide wing along whole rear side. By setting this wing it is possible to regulate the air pressure on rear side by high speed drive. New is patented konstruction of front spoiler, which can automaticaly change its rising angle denpending on driving speed. Side parts of spoiler are going in or out of coachwork, but one can see it only from front view on a car. The setting of front spoiler is possible to change also manualy and signalization of its gradient is one part of untraditional cars panel. Curiosity is positioning of headlights into side face of front coachwork and tilting of headlights to side instead of tilting to up. On both sides of car are tipping aerodynamic brakes and in front of them openings for air intake to engine and back wheel brakes. Engine radiator is placed in front side and air flowing, that goes through engine, is led by gilled openings on sides in front of front windshield, and that causes another air adhesion of front side. Front brakes are cooled also by opening in front cover.
Top side of wagon looks like one of the most beautiful Bertone's creations, his Lamborghini Bravo, and the shape of front glas is the proof of extreme technical possibilities, that flashed glas offers. Only one windshield wiper is hidden under wide flap together with air and heating distribution. The roof of car fluently changes to an aerodynamic tunnel, which leads air from engine and transmition. This tunnel is separated from cockpit by glas plate of rear window. By placing the wing right above back axle and espetialy wide surfaces of wing mounting are puling back the centres of gravity of side surfaces and beause of that increasing the stability of car in side wind, which is luck thanks to V-gutter shape of vertical surface of ponton.
Navajo has silver color combined with orange areas, is 3800mm long, 1860mm wide and 1050mm tall. Distance of axles is 2430mm, gauge in front 1515mm and 1520 in rear side, and it's weight is only 870kg. Wheels are different, extremly low Pirrely P7, in front 235/45 VR-13 and in rear 285/40 VR-15.

Does anyone has any pictures of this car please?
