Gas guzzling, huge police car that's suprisingly slow, American style.

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.

What do they expect to catch with those? Down under police Highway Patrol cars are either the 6ltr V8 SS Commodore, 260kw, 0-60 under 6sec, ~250+kmh top whack (going to 270kw with the new VE) and either 245kw Turbo 4ltr I6 XR6 Turbo or 260kw XR8 Falcons, about the same speed as the SS. THOSE are Police Interceptors. Hell, the Vic coppers even have a couple of 270kw HSV GTO coupes.

    Whats my impression?

Well they are an ok police car, and can catch most other cars on the highways easily. They also sound pretty badass when they fly by you chasing the crooks.

Lol I can't believe we have these crappy Vics as Highway Patrols while you guys have much better stuffs in Australia.

Fastest police car I seen here is a Camaro..........

it's waaay too heavy. Get more torque, a 5 or 6 speed auto, or just put in a 'Stang engine

fastest cop car I've seen here is a Nissan Maxima 3.5 SE ghostcar...it was sweeeet

Does anyone have the specs of the equally popular Impala?

    hee hee...I wonder why LMAO

I found the Impala specs, 3.8L V6 200hp. AND THE CAR IS LIMITED TO 124 MPH ONLY...WTF!? But acceleration is faster (8.64) compared the Crown Vic (9.25).
