That's the main reason why I'll be looking into a used NSX when I get rich, hopefully of course.

At least the front half looks semi-salvageable.

"Sad" ending? It's only a sad ending when a Ferrari dies if someone gets injured.
He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

    Oh well.... who drove it?
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

It's not that I don't want to blame the car, but the vast majority of burning F430's were brand new cars with less than 100 kilometers on the clock being pushed to the limits. Yes it's a Ferrari, but it's also a car, and a car has to travel a certain amount of kilometers before it can be pushed hard.

    Still a sad sight...

Not this again. Every time I post something on UCP that is not intentionally stupid (i.e. water, terrorist and console avatars craze for example) and try to post something technical I'm proved wrong. I have nothing against that, I'm here to learn and my technical knowledge is rather limited. What I don't like is my posts being called stupids, even if it was said as a joke. I just don't like it. Now I'm not blaming you, you put a smiley and you're a cool guy, but I'd like you to at least explain your 'not really'. Please.

I always heard cars needed to be broken into, and shouldn't be pushed too hard for a certain amount of time. I also heard brand new carbon brakes have a tendency to overheat and catch fire. That's why I posted that comment.
