    I withdraw this post.

A car blew its motor right before my run and aparently the track crew at the dragway didn't clean up the track properly. I might have hit a slick spot in the middle of third gear, and lost it. No injuries but the car is trashed. There may be some more vids that come in which I'll post, plus some pics of the extensive damage.

I feels like the car pulled hard right when I lost it. Please watch this vid and give me your impression of whether it looks like the right front wheel locked up/braked, causing the car to veer right. Thanks

Ha. I know why he wants to know if the wheel locked up, so he can say there's a fault with the car that caused the crash and sue. Fail.

I didn't actually bother watching the video. I thought he crashed after the run. Meh.

No, the car running alongside him recorded the time.

Trying to blame the crash on a locked front wheel sounds a bit like desperation. Can't see any way that that would logically happen. Looked to me like he simply lost the back end and couldn't recover.

do people actually get some sort of driver training, before being let loose on the strip?
EDIT:And the Mustang did a rolling start....

no they dont get training, but training or not, you hit an oil slick at 90+mph and you are doomed

The video is very bad to say what really happens.
There are a couple things I saw, like somebody else said the mustang was moving on the start, I don't see any problems with the front wheels, I think he just lost traction and didn't know how to control the car at the end. I have seen this happen a lot when the pocket is very powerful and 0 driving experience combine, where I live I have seen accidents of Porsches, Ferrari and powerful Mercedes having stupid accidents because of pilot error with too much money in the pockets.
    What's this for?

please tell us, how do you control a car sliding 90* sideways at 90+mph in between two concrete walls

this was not driver error, its called oil on the track, that happens ALOT

if you would watch his other vids youll see him making great 11 sec passes. Obviously he knows how to drive it well enough, most people monkey the z06 into the 12's
