The organisers of the Valencia GP have released an interesting video of a simulated lap of the new Valencia street circuit. Certainly looks interesting, particularly the bridge section; could be rather dangerous in the case of an accident! There seems to be a good blend of fast straights, high speed corners, and tight hairpins and chicanes.

Can't wait to see it in real life action!

    Wow, that does look interesting.

Are the roads already there or do they need to build it still?

It's a street circuit, built on the roads around the port at Valencia.

An overlay over the Google earth map of the area can be seen here - Google Maps
Interestingly, on Google Earth the bridge doesn't seem to exist! I hope it's just an old photo or else they'll have a lot of construction work to do!

that circuit reminds me macau very much - never-ending series of corners with a fast straight with some massive corners through it. i think it'll be nice circuit, now looking at it i think it'd look better in daylight?

In theory, looks like it's not bad for overtaking either with that long straight coming after a medium slow corner...

Valencia F1 Grand Prix: Seating and TV Screens

    Hi,

I'm going to the Valencia F1 in Aug and would like to know which seating area (Nazaret, Malvarrosa or Grao) is best. I have a couple of considerations:

    1. Where to sit within each area?
    2. I'd like to see as much of the track as possible
    3. I'd like a full front view of one of the TV screens
    4. Is the general admission area grass or free seating?

Not really looking for top end prices, so €150 to €250 preferred. Any information you can offer would be most welcome.

    Cheers

    Xav
