    Fisichella To Ferrari

According to these sites, Fisichella has been released from Foece India to join Ferrari.

Fisichella joins Ferrari Joe Saward’s Grand Prix Blog
autosport.com - F1 News: Force India releases Fisichella to Ferrari
autosport.com - F1 News: Fisichella thankful to Force India
autosport.com - F1 News: Ferrari predicts Fisichella will be strong
    F1 : Fisichella to Ferrari! - FERRARI - F1-Live.com

Although the Force India and Ferrari websites do not have posted anything yet, I am sure they will in the coming hours.

Both of them were loading extremely slowly, an indication that all of the F1 world was trying to access them at the same time!!

Well done Fisi. But I still think that Raikonnen will thrash him..

    EDIT:

Liuzzi expected to replace Fisi at Force India.

If you notice Mallya's official statement he says: "Furthermore the agreement will secure Giancarlo's long-term future with Ferrari and it would be incorrect to jeopardise this, particularly when Giancarlo has made such a vital contribution to Force India." Does this imply that Fifichella will be there next year?

If Alonso goes at Ferrari, with Fisichella, they will be teammates like 2005-6 in Renault. If so, it seems that Alonso will have had a hand in this. Maybe he did not want a strong teammate (like Hamilton). But all this is hypothetical...

I just read it on www.ferrari.com. It´s official now.

With Fisicos future at Ferrari, Mallya meant the rumors about Fisico being one of next years test drivers for Ferrari. I don´t think we will see him in a Grand Prix again after ´09. Unless another part of a car flies on Kimis or Alonsos head...

Test Drivers are not the job they used to be. With restricted testing, they drive only rarely, and as a result they lose their ability to drive fast, like Badoer.

One can argue that Badoer was a 38 year old with not much experience in F1, but the recent testing developmens did not help at all in his race pace.

I'm so pissed Scuderia Ferrari passed me over again.

    He really is pathetic.

Can such a driver be an effective test driver?

I think this year doesn't matter much. Quite why they didn't chose the latest Le Mans winner instead is beyond me though.

It's all positive: Mallya gets to be magnanimous, Fischi gets his dream fulfilled, Massa makes a full recovery with his seat warmed by someone that can keep pace, Kimi finishes his year with a little dignity... and all is right with the world.

More shocking is that Piquet's departure from Renault may have ignited a shitstorm the FIA will fan if it's true.
I'm beginning to think Alonso & Flav might have cooked their own goose.

I was looking at the Post-race press conference of Singapore 2008.

Maybe it was just me, but every time Alonso was referring to Piquet's crash, he made some nervous moves with his hands, eyes, eyebroes etc.

Of course you can't condemn someone because of this, but for me it's certainly a sign
