    Over here it is 1.49€ a liter last time i checked I just have to wait till fuel prices drop or my income rises before i can afford a car Worst thing is that 6 or more years ago the government did a 25 cents raise of the tax,to improve the roads. people could accept that since it was also temporarily ... These politicians keep promising it will end,before the elecions. So far nothing happened ... So we pay 25 cents extra for years now !!!

    cheapest ive ever seen it up here is 1.32! i use plus (10% ethanol) fuel which is constantly 4 or 5 cents cheaper.

    I remember about 15 yrs ago, our state gov't did the same thing 3x3 they called it. 3 cents per litre for 3 years to fix the roads. Since then they've upped the levy (it's not a tax ;-) ) a few times and we're still paying it...unbelievable.
