the DB9 and DBS use the same chassis, the V8 Vantage has a shortened one, the V12 Vantage has a shoter than that of a DB9 but longer than that of a V8.
They are the same one in the sense it's a modular chassis.

That's the problem for me. They are nowhere near different enough. They all look the same except for the size.

    are you talking about Audis?
    or Seats?
it's true, AMs all look the same, or similar enough (upon personal tastes).
and so what? people accepted a rebodied Murcélago for 4 times the price (reductive), but we can't stand different vehicle with the same look but different underpinnings (again reductive).
I prefer AM from this point of view, personally, as I already said quite some times.

But would you accept the Gallardo looking like a mini Muricelago?

    I wouldn't.

Wasn't aware that the V12 Vantage is slightly different than the V8 Vantage. But yeah, what I said was kinda correct.

The Gallardo already looks like a mini Murcielago and it looks fabulous.

the V12 couldn't fit in the V8's engine bay

I wasn't refering as in "family feeling".

I was refering as in the same, à la Aston.

it isn't bad, but it's quite "meh" since in my book even the Murcielago, especially before of the restyling, is too much understated, as if it was just an iteration of the Diablo, which I could consider as an evolution of the Coutach.
30 years of slow evolution in style are too much for my patience (looking at you, 911).

EDIT: I consider the Gallardo as a mini Murcielago
