ahh, nice one, a Lambo that isn't dangerous isn't a Lambo, a raging bull doesn't behave like a horsey.

It's not too hard to do. Just remove the driveshaft in the front half...

I have a related question. Is AWD/Quattro an evolutionary remanent*? In the sense it is no longer needed (or at least all that necessary) now that we have electronic driver aids?

*In performance driving. I realize of course Audi needs AWD for marketing reasons as well and that off-road is a whole different ball game.

I see they recruited Colin as the drivetrain engineer.

Electronic aids can't put power to the other wheels unless their are driveshafts and diffs there to start with. The electronics control the diff slip rates to adjust torque to different driven wheels when needed and apply brakes to slow wheels down.
So AWD/Quattro adds an extra capability for better performance.

Four wheel drive has never been needed except if you have to deal with extrmely low grip conditions.

Four wheel drive isn't going to save you if you enter a 60km/h corner at 120km/h anyway.
