    We don't get that here.

Really? I was under the impression that they were really expensive stuff.

Are you talking about the LR2?

I think we do get that here. But the size and the way it's styled makes it look like a softroader. The RAV4 is a softroader.

    Edit-

Holy crap, never mind, the LR2 on the US website is listed at $35,000. Definitely not cheap like the Jeeps are.

Haha, is that still being built?

I'm more of a Toyota FJ kind of guy.

Yep, at least until they can find a suitable replacement. Failing that, if you want to go off-road buy a G-Class Merc, altough these are not cheap.

Not a doubt, the G Class certainly is a classic. Not sure if they'll ever end production of that.

Does the AMG version skimp on off road performance though?

Well, it's not as a capable as regular models. So if you are really concerned about off-roading you are better off with non-AMG version.

Yeah, but they're not half bad at off roading. Just don't do it in a Compass or the other crossover thingy.

The Libertys aren't half bad either.

that makes it even worse. because then you're actually somewhere genuinely hard to access and offroad when it implodes.

I'm not trying to stick up for America, but they did come up with the Willys, so I do give them credit for that.

a friend threw a rod out of the side of his block in the middle of a mud pit a mile from the closest road. and that was on the super reliable 4.0 I6.
