Construction

Spy style: the design is based on the charismatic shape of "Volga " GAZ-21; its heart is tough and has the aggressive temperament of BMW 850 CSI. It is certificated as BMW-850 with upgraded bodywork in all the documents. In fact it is a compilation of technology and design ideas typical of its "parents".

Astonishing beautiful, it somehow became an Outstanding Russian car. Volga GAZ-21 was first manufactured in 1957. A year later there appeared an idiom – this sparkling "vamp" was called "shark's mouth" because of its peculiar radiator facing. It gave rise to many rumors: they said that once Volga had crashed into a tram and overturned it. The headlines in the newspapers during the international exhibition, where Volga had gotten the grand-prix said:" Russian tanks on Brussel's streets!"
Volga GAZ-21 – is the symbol of the imperial epoch.

BMW 850 CSI
Opened a new epoch in grand-tourismo (GT – is a car for travelling across continents), BMW 850 is somehow a symbol too. It is a car that seems to have very tough and aggressive character, but you just have to know how to get alone with it.

Mix

The work lasted for 17 months.

During this time:

• After draft slating the clay model was built (scale 1:1), in which all shapes and proportions of the future automobile were finally defined.


• A new metal body panels were handmade out of sheet iron according to the glass-fibre plastic shapes, which were taken down from the model.


• The power structure has been recreated


• At the same time, with decorating the gathered body with chrome elements and setting the optical devices, the original glass house was made.


• The unique BMW 850 CSI interior with its ergonomic and equipment was modified for setting it in Volga V 12 and was finished with high quality leather and Karelian birch.
