    8C Le Mans Alfa Coupe.

I am in the process of drafting a fully detail set of plans for the 1938 8C Le Mans Alfa Coupe. A colleague managed to take some detail photos when the car was on display at the Science Museum in London some time back. However it is not the best location for full car photos, so I am on the look out for these.

If you know of any professional/or other photographers, who might specialise in Classic Alfa Romeo cars, who might have good photos of this car (such as those shown on this web site) I would be very pleased to have your recommendations.

As a car enthusiast, you might find my own website of interest at:

I look forward to your comments with interest.

    With best regards, Gerald

Excellent stuff. We have shot the Le Mans Coupe several times, just let me know what kind of angles you are looking for and I'll see what I can do. I just read that those crazy Italians nick-named it 'Soffio di Satana' or 'Satan's Breath'.

If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Well, welcome to the forums, it is always a treat to see the products of one of the most prolific and capable modelers in the world. In a way modeling has very much contributed to the creation of this website, but I have to admit that my skills are very thin compared to yours. Making what the eye sees (without having the benefit of prefab parts) is an art in itself and obviously you have reached perfection. I was just wondering whether the Bugatti Royale Chassis model sold at Retromobile by Christies earlier this year is also made by you.
